what is the 6 step method for sampling?
A
1-lay (2) by (20)Metres tape measures out at a right angle to create a grid = Total area that you are sampling (400m2)
2- randomly pick coordinates (2 NUMBERS) using RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR
3- place qudrat (0.5m x 0.5m) at the random coordinates (1st sample area (0.25m2))
4- COUNT all organisms of species that you’re sampling in the quadrat
5-repeat steps 2-4 for AT LEAST 10 QUADRATS
6- calculate mean number of organisms per quadrat
