What are the Indications and Contraindications of Stemitil
Indications
Treatment of prophylaxis of nausea/ vomiting for
- Planned Areomedical Evacuation
- Known Contraindication to Odansetron
- Vertigo
- Motion Sickness
- Headache irrespective of Nausea and Vomiting
Contraindications
- Circulatory collapse (cool, pale, clammy, hypotension, tachycardia)
- CNS Depression
- Pregnancy
- < 21 years of Age
- Hypersensitivity
What are the Side Effects and Precautions of Stemitil
Side Effects (HEDS BS)
- Drowsiness
- Hypotension
- Blurred Vision
- Sinus tachycardia
- Skin rash
- Extrapyramdial Reactions.
Precautions (HEP)
- Hypotension
- Epilepsy
- Patients effected by alcohol or anti-depressants.
