A

Indications
- Primary Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPPH)

Contraindications (SCHE)

  • Hypersensitivity
  • Cord prolapse
  • Exclude Multiple pregnancy
  • Severe Toxemia (Pre- Eclampsia)

Side Effects

  • Tachycardia
  • Bradycardia
  • Nausea

Precautions

  • If given IV may cause transient Hypotension
  • Concurrent use of Methoxyflurane may cause hypotension.
