What methods can you use to remove something from the nostrils?

A

Balloons: you pass a small Foley or the Katz extractor past the object and pull back
Parent’s kiss: have the parent occlude the unaffected nostril and blow into the mouth
Direct extraction w/ alligator forceps
Magnetic extraction
Suction w/ a Frazier tip suction
