  • Non-responder= hepatitis B immune globulin (HBIG) and booster vaccine

monthly PCR
- if seroconversion then interferon +/- ribavirin

A

oral antiretrovirals
- Tenofovir, emtricitabine, lopinavir and ritonavir ASAP

(may be started up to 72 hours following exposure)

  • Taken for 4 weeks
  • serological testing at 12 weeks following completion of PEP
