Why do we do a cardio vascular phase
Every training session should start with a cardio vascular warm up to gradually raise the heart rate towards the working rate. 10-15 mins
How long will a cardio vascular phase take
15-20 minutes
What are the 2 different types of stretching
Static- easy, on the spot stretching without straining
Dynamic- stretches that use movements specific to a sport gradually increasing your reach and speed
What is the sports specific phase
To practise the skills you are about to undertake
Why do we do a cool down
To gradually take our heart rate back down to resting.
To remove lactic acid.
