An anti-emetic that blocks 5HT receptors both centrally and in the gastrointestinal tract

Opiate induced nausea and vomiting.

A
Known sensitivity to ondansetron
Infants < 1 month old

QT interval prolongation
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Hepatic impairment

Many
Constipation, hiccups, chest pain, bradycardia, headache, seizure,

Dosage and Admin
A
IV/IM (IV slow over 2 mins)
IntD 4 milligrams

Max dose 4 milligrams
