a. Epididymides (2) (Sing:Epididymis)
b. Ductus Deferens (2) c. Ejaculatory ducts - Penis
- a. Urethra
- b. Glans
- c. Prepuce or Foreskin
-are the two glands in which spermatozoa are developed. They lie in the sac—”scrotum” below the pubic bones and are separated by a partition.
TESTES/Testicles (Sing=Testis)
– is a single globular gland about 1.5 inches in diameter and lies below the outlet of the urinary bladder.
PROSTATE GLAND
– are two tube-like glands which lie behind the urinary bladder
SEMINAL VESICLES
-are two small glands that lie on each side of the urethra below the prostate.
BULBOURETHRAL GLANDS
–forms the prominence on the back of each testis. It is composed of a single tube which is coiled upon itself.
EPIDIDYMIS
– is a continuation of a duct of the epididymis that passes from the lower end of a testis up to the scrotum and in front of the pubic bone to the lower abdominal wall.
DEFERENT DUCTS/DUCTUS DEFERENS / VAS DEFERENS
–are formed by the union of the Ductus Deferens and duct from 62 the Seminal Vesicle on each side.
EJACULATORY DUCTS
–is the male organ of copulation/intercourse.
It is cylindrical in shape and is attached below the pubis in front of the scrotum.
PENIS
-passes through its entire length of the penis to open at the distal end –meatus.
Urethra
–is the distal enlarged end of the penis.
Glans
–is the covering of the glans penis
