Our school emblem comes from the Maclean family one. We took the castle and modified it.
What was Stockade hill originally? What did it become later?
It was built in 1863 because of a perceived threat of attack. Later it became a memorial for fallen soldiers after WW1

Elephant, cure kids, red nose day. Ernest Rutherford, a nuclear physicist who split a atom.

Dog, guide dogs. Katherine mansfield was a famous NZ author.

buzzy bee, westpac rescue. Jean Batten was a nz aviator. Made the first solo flight from England to NZ.
