What is an eclipse
Occurs when moon passes between the sun and the earth so the earth is partially in darkness

Light travels in straight lines and cannot pass through certain materials.

When an image appears in a mirror and it is then laterally inverted. This means that the left side is on the right and the right side is on the left

Diverging- middle beam travels straight, the rest turn up or downward
Converging- middle beam travels straight and the others come and join to meet it
