What is Legg-Calve Perthes?
Deformity and flattening of the femoral head secondary to loss of blood supply.
Leads to:

- Fragmentation and Reossification
Age Range for LCP?

What is Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis?
Displacement of the femoral head secondary to slippage from the growth plate.
- May be secondary to trauma

(SCFE looks like a melting ice cream cone, if we eat too much ice cream we will get overweight)

Stiffness: Flexion, Abduction, IR
Management with LCP?
- Conservative management
- Orthotics
(Does not need surgery, generally self limiting)
Management with SCFE?
