A
Decreased: Flexion, IR and Abduction

Bone Scans
CT or MRI

Symptoms of AVN?
A
- Pain in groin or thigh
- Point tenderness with palpation at the hip joint
- Coxalgic Gait

What is coxalgic gait?
A
Upper trunk lean towards the affected side (without hip drop)

What medication is contraindicated for use in this population?
A
Corticosteroids, as this may be a causative factor.
