Lab 7: Shoulder, Brachium Flashcards
Brachium Muscles Compartment Division
Anterior: Brachialis, Biceps Brachii, Coracoidbrachialis
Posterior: 3 heads of triceps
Blood supply and nerve supply for anterior/post brachium compartment?
Brachial A/ Musculocutaneous N
Brachial Profunda A/ Radial N
Musculocutaneous Pathway in brachium?
pierce coracobrachialis, travels between biceps and brachialis, emerges laterally on LAC
Pathway of Ulna N?
goes to posterior compartment through medial intramuscular septum and travels behind medial epicondyle
Pathway of Axillary N?
Join PHCA to travel around surgical neck of humerus to supply deltoids
Pathway of Radial N?
travels with brachial profunda into post compartment around spiral groove to supply triceps
Border of Quadrangular Space? Contents of this space?
Superior: teres minor
Posterior: teres major
Lateral: Humerus
Medial: Long head of triceps
Muscles attachments of Rotator Cuff?
Supraspinatus
Infraspinatus

Subscapularis
What nerve travel around spiral groove?
Radial N
OIANB of biceps brachii?
Short head; Corachoid process of scapula
Long head: supraglenoid tubercle of scapula
Insertions of biceps
