Les regles de stationnement
Les panneaux d’arret et de stationnement prennent effect a la hauteur du panneau et du cote de son implantation. Ils prennent fin a l’intersection suivante.
Parking rules
Stop and parking signs take effect at the height of the sign and on the side where it is located. They end at the next intersection.

1eme panneau: Un trait = stationnement interdit
L’interdiction de stationnement peut etre materialisee par une ligne discontinue jaune

The parking ban can be indicated by a broken yellow line.

Deux traits = stationnement ET arret interdit
L’interdiction de stationnement et de l’arret peut etre materialise par une lign continue jaune

Two lines = parking AND stopping prohibited
The parking and stopping ban can be indicated by a solid yellow line.

Stationnement interdit du 1er au 15 du mois du cote de la rue ou le panneau est place

Stationnement interdit du 16 a la fin du mois du cote de la rue ou le panneau est place

PENSEZ sur le 5eme panneau
1 est impair (due 1er au 15 = cote rue impair)
16 est pair (du16 a la fin du mois = cote rue pair)

1 is odd (due 1st to 15 = odd street rating)

Un marquage bleu au sol indique une one de stationnement gratuite reglementee
A blue marking on the ground indicates a regulated free parking zone

Ce signe indique que le stationnement est a duree limitee. Un disque indiqant votre heure d’arrivee doit alors etre appose derriere le pare-brise. Ce principe permet une meilleure rotation des usagers

Vous pouvez immobiliser votre vehicule:
1. Du cote droit de la chaussee pour une rue a double sens de circulation si la signalisation ne l’interdit pa.
2. Du cote droit et gauche de la chaussee pour une rue a sens unique si la signalisation ne l’interdit pas
You can immobilize your vehicle:
1. On the right side of the road for a two-way street if the signs do not prohibit it.
2. On the right and left side of the road for a one-way street if the signage does not prohibit it
Stationner en ville:
La nuit, si votre vehicule n’est pas bien visible, vous devez au moins laisser vos feux de position allumes de cote de la circulation.
Parking in town:
At night, if your vehicle is not clearly visible, you must at least leave your parking lights on on the side of traffic.
Vous ne pouvez pas stationner votre vehicule plus de 7 jours consecutifs a la meme place sur la voie publique
You cannot park your vehicle for more than 7 consecutive days in the same place on public roads.

Difference entre le stationnement et l’arret?
Arret = J’immobilise mon vehicule et je reste a proximite.
Stationnnment = J’immobilise mon vehicule et je m’en eloigne
Difference between parking and stopping?
Stop = I stop my vehicle and stay nearby.
Parking = I immobilize my vehicle and move away from it
