- Diet modification to low FODMAP diet: avoid lactose, artificial sweeteners etc.
- Increased dietary Fibre: most evidence for Psyllium based products. i.e., Metamucil.
- Avoid trigger factors including stress, large meals, fatty foods, caffeine and exacerbating medications.
- As bloating is a common symptom of many conditions it is important to conduct a thorough history to understand the root cause
