governed by the care quality commission (CQC) + are concerned with protection of the pt
Both regulations
place responsibilities on the legal person to establish + maintain QA programmes in respect of dental radiography. - BOTH form part of health + safety at work at 1974
Other points
conventional x-ray equipment is still used (X-ray tube) + same regulations still apply
when digital system introduced, hardware + software needs to be installed + staff trained in its use + computer maintenance of images.
