there are no comparisons or interventions made between groups in a descriptive one however with analytical questions , once there are two groups it makes it an analytical question

what is the purpose of an analytical question ?
test hypothesis
what is the difference between a hypothesis and a research question ?
a hypothesis is a formal statement that states the expected relationship between a dependent and an independent variable
