-common in white, blond, fair skinned men
-they grow slowly, and develop a crust when they do
-can be removed with curettage, electrodesiccation, cryosurgery and radiation therapy
Basil cell carcinoma (BCC)
-2nd most common skin cancer non-melanoma skin cancer 2nd to BCC
-caused by exposure to UV radiation
-curable when treated early
-if untreated, can metastasize and cause serious complications
