 Children whose family is in crisis and other familial options are not available.
 Non-violent youth who are out of parental control and need to evaluate their
position.
 Department of Family Services Child Protective Services placement.
 District Attorney recommendation to officers for alternative to detention placement for
non-violent children.
 Court Ordered Placement
-Children waiting for a more permanent placement.
Children requiring a diagnostic assessment.

-No bed space available

  • Under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
  • Suicidal – statement or actively suicidal
  • Serious medical condition requiring constant care or immediate care
  • Previously terminated from the Crisis Center or ran away from the Crisis Cente
  • Violent behavior
