Came from Vietnam, hoping to come to US, but was forced in stocking shelves, threatened with death and beaten routinely when they made mistakes.

Dispatched at 2300 hrs to a sex assault in progress in a park where a male is assaulting a female. The male has a knife.

Upon your arrival, male gets off victim and starts running, male has a knife in his hands.

Interview with Victim:
Suspect is a family friend who flirted with her, but she didn’t respond to advances. After work, victim was walking in park when she was approached by suspect who forced her behind tree with knife in hand.

He told her if she doesn’t have sex with him, he will kill her and then kill her husband afterwards.

Reporting Party:
Saw female being assaulted behind tree in park. Woman was screaming.
