A

During after start Cx:
- STBY Horizon
- ICE detector
- AFCS system test

Centre console Cx:
- Marker beacon
- Wx Radar
- RCU system test
- ADF

During taxi
- Taxi checks

What conditions require the ice detect to be tested?

A

Only required to be tested if OAT below 5ºC is expected
Completed by pushing forwards on the switch

How is the HORBAT system check conducted, how long is it powered for and how long does it run for?

A

Test is conduced by moving STBY/HOR sw into the test position

STBY AI is powered by a seperate battery system lasting 30 mins

A

A

FCDM sw - Pos 1
FCDM 2 ON
FCDM sw - Pos N
FCDM 2 OFF
ADC sw - Pos 1

BARO knob on co-pilot ICP (adjust pressure setting and watch both QNH changing)
ADC sw - Pos N
ADC 2 OFF

A

F - Departure fuel/current fuel vs joker
C - Check HDG Bug, CRS bar, all 3 reading the same
L - Time of departure vs ETA @ next WP/reporting point
E - Cx
A - DH 999ft, Leg LSALT, Grid LSALT
R - Box 1, Box 2, TAC rads back on, EMRG freq, next R/T
M - Air con, remove departure from GPS

Alt A - Set to cleared climb
TAC Rads - OFF (only on for radar SID)
750 - D-> Dep end of RWY

For a RADAR SID, confirm HDG for departure
