• not part of the FDNY honored traditions
• hazing can be verbal or physical

Hazing:- any rite of passage into unit
-using social media to demean, intimidate
-abusive tricks
etc.

REPORT incident in writing up chain of command to CHIEF OF DEPARTMENT

-BITS will investigate hazing

Officer must also advise members of services available - BHS and CSU
