INOPERATIVE APPARATUS DOOR..

Answer 1

A.in quarters with multi-doors, reposition apparatus, if possible, to make the maximum use of the door/doors in service..if the defective doors is not needed , place OOS in closed position

B.if ELECTRICAL, DISCONNECT POWER AND OPERATE MANUALLY

C. if fault is other than electric, place door OOS by OPENING FULLY and request tarps from ENGINE 260, officer of e-260 will provide delivery and pick up of tarps using searchlight 21 apparatus

D. jammed or damaged, request nearest RESCUe for use of special tools

-apparatus door malfunction during OFFICER HOURS/NOTIFY BUILDINGS…NON OFFICE HOURS/NOTIFICATION DESK

Broken Water Pipe or MAIN..

–BREAK ON HOUSE SIDE/shut valve off

BREAK ON STREET SIDE/DEP VIA DISPATCHER

OIL BURNER inoperative..

Answer 3

• check fuse
• check remote control with in “ON” position
• water level/SLOWLY add water
• DEPRESS RELAY BUTTON ONCE TO RECYCLE UNIT, do not repeat if burner fails to ignite
• check manual control reset button
