1-90/Roster Staffing Schedule Overtime

Question 1

NO FF should received more than 96 hours of RSOT per year, EXCEPT as result of carryovers .

FF’s who cannot work schedule RSOT, forfeit the right to that RSOT tour (FF’S intending to decline a RSOT tour shall notify company officer on duty by 0900 hours on the DAY BEFORE 9x6 or 6x9 RSOT tour

-all RSOT tour declined shall be recorded on TPR(8160 -event code)

a RSOT tour mx or rescheduled may NOT be mx or rescheduled AGAIN

RS-6 , ATLEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE 1ST TOUR FOR APPROVAL

• MX exchange completed by BOTH PARTIES within 30 days of FIRSt scheduled tour or by end of calendar year, whichever is earliest
• if FF fails to work a scheduled mx, he will be give a decline

if RSOT occurs while on NON LINE OF DUTY ML, FF’S MAY MX THE TOUR (not reschedule)(must follow 30 day rule)

no mx for NON LINE of duty ML RESULTS IN DECLINED RSOT (if he is on ML passed the 30 day mark..results in decline )

if he goes to lIGHT DUTY, he can work the RSOT–MUST BE WORKED WITHIN 30 DAYS of being scheduled or end of calendar year

FF’s who make a mx exchange of VACATION and as a result are schedule to work RSOT may work or mx (NOT RESCHEDULE )

LINE OF DUTY ML, resulting in new VACATION LEAVE with schedule RSOT–work, mutual exchange or RESCHEDULE RSOT

-MUST BE SIMILAR TOUR (9X FOR 9X, WEEKEND FOR WEEKEND)..however members may offer other than like tours (weekday for weekend) at discretion of Dept., but MEMBER MAY DECLINE and choose to work “like tour”

-Extended line of duty ML (over 90 days) that have missed RSOT tour shall reschedule upon return to full duty:missed tours cannot be scheduled during period of light duty

FF’s having their group or vacation letter change/ must work the schedule RSOT tour according to their new group/ or vacation letter

RSOT not permitted for FF’s on accrued or terminal leaves

If RSOT exceed 96 hours (for whatever reason) for the year…RSOT TOURS in excess will be deducted from next year RSOT offered to member

COMPANY COMMANDER will be responsible for viewing RSOT print to ensure member’s adherence to RSOT schedule
