6th grade FF’s should not engage in any EDE , profession, occupation , or business, while attending probationary FF training school

Any member who’s EDE has been identified by the Department as constituting a potential conflict of interest shall be directed by the BUREAU OF PERSONNEL Resources to apply for a conflicts of interest waiver , such waiver application shall be submitted to the DEPT. within 30 days of such notice

application will be issued for 2 years…member must refile every 2 years , 30 days before expiration

Members serving in VOLUNTEER FD MUST SUMBIT FORM BP-150

CO must review , endorse , approve or DISAPPROVE the application BP-150 and forward all 3 copies to CHIEF OF PERSONNEL

EDE automatically revoked when member is on SMLP
