Face to FAce communication works 90% of the time to stop offensive behavior…however,
harassed person may communicate this complaint to Officer, EEO officer/counselor
if the Officer is the harassing individual, communicate to next level of supervision
Keeping an accurate record of the facts pertaining to events that constitute harassment/discrimination and /or sexual harassment/discrimination is ESSENTIAL to support complaint…
Do NOT attempt to remove offensive material from boards, lockers, etc.
- OFFICer or EEO officer shall remove these items
- EVIDENCE should be DATED by the OFFICER and forwarded to the EEO officer, after telephone notification is made…..EEO officer will send acknowledgement to officer and/or complainant
- complainant should keep personal journal
- complainant should retain copies of performance evaluations
