Golf Golden Nuggets Problem Solving Adhoc Flashcards
**Hit it hard as you want and it will not hook, so long as you fully rotate pelvis on impact. **If you only partially shift pelvis, you will pull ball dead left because YOU SWUNG AROUND YOUR FULCRUM. Pelvis must be completely facing target forward on your finished shot pose.
I cannot feel pelvis turning, but concentrated on chest turning to TARGET at impact. This makes a solid shot. (Later focused on griped bottom of “V” in-line to swing path.)
3. I also added a short pause at top of BS. This gives me time to line up my underhand right elbow with plane line. (See, if I didn’t allow time for this adjustment, I would panic and go ahead with the bad swing. The pause at the top gives me an adjustment period to make a good shot.
**On DS, follow path inward to 4:00 position, but impact the dead center of ball.
Impact through the rear center of the ball with CF squared like at setup, and make impact a solid foot long through the ball.
**
(This means you are hitting the exact back of the ball with CF open matching the 4:00 position. So you TA at 4:00. You impact at dead center with DS coming back at 4:00. Next you impact dead center rear of ball and FF up and follow the impact path, then immediately throw the Pepsi over your left shoulder.)
Info: My pulls are because my DS is going outside and left on FF. This fix make ball flight very straight! I can really impact the ball hard and it will FF upward to the right for a high finish. The good news is that it will not pull.
**Now on the DS Twist down then immediately make your twist up. When you are executing this move, it feels like it is one continuous motion. Just like you are carving out a “U” with your golf swing. **
Practice this even without a ball. It is great for staying on plane on both the BS and DS and FF.
Practice twist up, twist up at different speeds to stay in control on every shot.
Also practice holding the CF square on your impact. This will stop pulls and shanks.
Try to FF on the path to your target, just like Hogan did.
Practice getting weight over the left leg when you finish the swing.
I AM FORGETTING TO TWIST UP! Therefore I swing around my fulcrum and pull the ball.
