What are metoclompramide and domperidone used for?
Motility stimulant in reflux and stasis and antiemetic
How do Motility stimulants work?
They are dopamine antagonists, increasing gastric contractions and tone in the lower oesophageal sphincter which increases speed of gastric emptying.

How do bulk laxatives work and name one?
Increased volume of intestinal contents increases peristalsis
Cellulose
How do osmotic laxatives work and name one
Increase bulk by encouraging water retention.
They are therefore made up of poorly absorbed salts like MgSO4

Act on the mucosal plexuses
