Gene
The section of DNA responsible for a certain characteristic.

dominant allele
A phenotype that requires one copy of an allele to be expressed
Recessive allele
A phenotype that requires two copies of an allele to be expressed

a situation where 2 or more alleles are equally dominant and can be both observed
