What is the Harvard step test ?

A

The Harvard step test is where you get a box and step on it once every 2 seconds for 5 minutes (150 steps). One minute after finishing the test you take your pulse. 2 minutes you take your test and 3 minutes after taking the test you take your test. Use a calculator to find your fitness levels

What is the sit and reach test ?

A

This test is where you remove your shoes and place your feet against a box and your need to try and reach as for as you can towards the wall where there will be a ruler. Wherever you reach on the ruler is your flexibility levels.

A

With your strongest hand you need to hold and grip as hard as you can for 3 seconds. Then you need to get a partner to measure your score on the dynamometer.

What is the vertical jump test/Sargent jump test ?

A

You start with placing chalk where your fingers reach on a wall. Then from a standing position you need to jump as high as you can touching the wall at the highest point. Measure the distance between the 2 marks and that is your power level

A

The test is 10m long and 60m wide. You start by running down the line then through the cones and back round. Once finished the time you’ve taken in seconds is your agility rating
