Nasal turbinates

A

pair of fragile curled bones projecting into the nasal cavity, increases the contact of inspired air with the nasal mucosa; this aids debris removal before inhalation to lungs + warms air as it passes over capillary beds covering the bones. They are separated in the midline by nana septum
