How can you determine the depth of underground services?
Digging down to them is the recommended way

Use stakes which are colored, flagged and a note indicating what they are.
Buildings near high tides must be set back from and elevated above how much:
Setback distance required can range from 10 m to 160 m, and can be 2m to 10 m
What is required if existing structure needs removal?
Permit and approval from local building authorities are required along with notification of WorkSafeBC.
How are temporary buildings placed?
Contractor will often rent street space on which to locate units until there is less heavy equipment movement on site.
Most important building not to move?
The office, as it has first-aid and will be sought after if there is an injury. Moving can confuse people.
