What must be determined before forms are stripped, walls are backfilled or tilt-up is lifted?
Concrete strength.
Engineer may use what tool to test concrete hardness?
Rebound hammer or cast cylinder test.
Who inspects rebar and embeds?
Engineer at the time when inspecting formwork, but may need a separate inspection if required by Engineer.
WorkSafeBC requires the Engineer to inspect formwork and falsework when?
Immediately before the placement of concrete.
WorksafeBC requires that drawings and supplementary instructions for formwork & re-shoring be:
certified by a professional engineer.
What is an Architectural Inspection?
Similar to municipal, but stages which inspection happens are set by the Engineer.
