- Blepharitis

Causes of Chronic marginal blephritis
- Anterior – staph
- Posterior– meibomian gland dysfunction, Rosacea, dermatitis
Staphylococcal blepharitis cause irretation worse in morning or night?
Morning
Signs of staph. Blepharitis
- Hard scales and crusting around base of lashes.
- Conjunctivitis, hyperaemia, telangiectasia.
- Madrosis, trachiasis, poliosis
Complications of chronic marginal blepharitis
- Trachiasis, madarosis, poliosis.
- Marginal keratitis
- Tear film instability
