What is an ADD?
Acceptable Deferred Defect
Carry forward items are airworthiness related. A time limitation for rectification shall be applied
What is a BDD?
Base Deferred Defect
Any defect which does not change the structural integrity, operational procedures, does not affect safety and is not airworthiness related may be raised as a BDD
What two minor checks does the engineers do?
72h check and 10 day check
If a 72h minor check is done at 01:00 UTC 01 Dec 2021.
When does the next one have to be completed?
Before 01:00 UTC 04 Dec 2021
If a 10 day minor check is done at 01:00 UTC 01 Dec 2021.
When does the next one have to be completed?
Before 24:00 UTC 11 Dec 2021
10 days are counted from 00:00 UTC of the next day following the last completion
Can you dispatch an aircraft with a minor check that is valid right now, but will expire during the flight?
No
When is a CRS (Certificate of Release to Service) required to be issued?
When a maintenance action is done on the aircraft or any defect is reported in the ATL (Aircraft Technical Log)
How many copies is in the ATL for each sector?
