marriage- she did not want to marry as she felt it would weaken her power on the throne
economy- economy was in 30,000 in debt when she became queen
personality- took too long to make decisions and this angered people
religion- she wanted to carry on her fathers protestant faith and this angered many catholics

children- Elizabeth did not want/have children and this exposed her as she would be easier to overthrow
