In the dispatch deviations guide, there is a section called the EICAS cross reference list. What is this?
It is a manual that you can look up an EICAS message, and it directs you to the exact MEL that applies to that particular problem.
On an MEL, what does (M) or (O) mean?
M = MX procedure
O = Operational procedure/consideration

If you have an item missing on the CDL and it is listed as “negligible” effect on performance. Is there a limit to how many “negligible” items can exist at once?
Yes, no more than 3. If there are more than 3, you must take a performance penalty.
Does an NEF have any effect on performance or safety?
No. That is why it is an NEF.
What is the repair interval requirement for an NEF?
120 days, or otherwise published.
