Anti-Ice, Rain System Flashcards

1
Q

What do the NACELLE ANTI-ICE switches do?

A

OFF- Nacelle anti-icing valve commanded closed
AUTO- Nacelle anti-icing valve opens (as described below in the ON description) when system detects ice (some models don’t have AUTO)
ON-
-Nacelle anti-icing valve commanded open when bleed air pressure available
-Engine igniters (if in AUTO) commanded to operate continuously by the EEC
-Engine bleed PRV valve opens
