The poor women of Paris marched 50km to Versailles to confront the National Assembly and King.
When the women got to Versailles, who had joined them?
Along the way hundreds of other poor people had joined the march, including the National Guard and Lafayette.
What did the women and crowd do once they got to Versailles?
They attacked the palace and National Assembly.
What resulted from the women’s attack?
The king and queen agreed to return to Paris.
