anyone who owned property was allowed to vote
What was the problem with only those owning property being allowed to vote?
poor people owned nothing, so this signaled a return to special privileges for people with money
What happened to the title “citizen”
those days were over and all the advances made by the poor were swept away

the guy who finally took over, called himself Emperor of France, and established a new sort of monarchy
