The head of government and the executive branch. PM chairs the cabinet
Define the term Executive
The branch of government responsible for policy making and policy implementation
Define the term Cabinet
The committee of senior cabinet ministers that is the main collective decision-making body of the government

Name the three requirements of a PM
Must be a member of Westminster Parliament (now HoC)
Must be a leader of a political party
Their party normally has a majority in the House of Commons
What is a minority government?
No political party has the majority
A party without a majority (usually largest party) forms a government
Gov ministers members of this one party
