Occupant load
The amount of floor area presume to be occupied by one person
Occupant load factor
The space actually used
Net floor Area
What is the formula to find the occupant load
Square footage divided by occupant load factor
The portion of the exit access travel distance measured from the most remote point of each room, area, or space to the point where the occupants of separate or distinct access to two or exits or exit access doorways and can choose which direction to go

The distance that an occupant would have to travel to get from the most remote point of each room, area, or space along the natural in an obstructed path of horizontal and vertical travel, to the entrance to the nearest exit

The stock in the stock room must be of the same hazard classification is that found in the main retail area, not more than 50% of the exit access can be through the stockroom, the stockroom cannot be subject to locking from the egress side, and there must be a demarcated aisle with a minimum width of 44 inches defined by full or partial highlight fix walls or similar construction that will maintain the required with and leave directly from the Retail area to the exit without obstruction
How do you find the required minimum width of exits
Multiplying the occupant load served by a factor of 0.3 for stairways and 0.2 for egress components other than stairways
A portion of an exit access leading to an exit
Corridor
For educational and institutional what is the required Corredor width
72 inches when serving an occupant load of 100 or more
