What are Monosaccharides?

A

Carbs that are relatively simple. Encompass stuff like Glucose and Fructose.

A

Starch: (used by plants to store excess)

Glycogen: Used by animals to store excess energy in the cells

Cellulose: Plants use to form the ‘Cell wall’.

Chitin: The hard exterior insects, lobster and shrimp have.
