it’s the wrinkly, outer layer of the brain.
what is the role of the cerebral cortex?
thinking and processing sensory information.
where is the cerebellum found?
behind the medulla.
what is the cerebellum role?
co-ordinating gross and fine muscle activity and out balance
where is the frontal lobes found?
front part of the cerebral cortex.
what is the role of the frontal lobes?
thinking, decision making and planning.

above the hypothalamus.
what is the role of the corpus callosum?
bridge between the two halves that enable communication.
1. right side controls the left.
2. left side controls the right.
where is the hypothalamus found?
above the brain stem and medulla.
what is the role of the hypothalamus?
maintenance for out body temp and regulation of our appetite and thirst
what is hypothalamus also involved with?
the homeostasis, maintaining constant internal environment.
where is the medulla found?
the spinal cord goes through the brain stem of which the medulla is apart of.
what does the medulla do?
it is responsible for breathing, swallowing and heart rate.
where is the meninges found?
surrounding the brain and spinal cord are three layers called meninges.
what is the role of the meninges?
membrane from barriers from the rest of the body and acts as the protection from infections.
