When do you inspect a complaint
Promptly
Who inspects complaints related to places of public assembly such as theaters, sports arenas, convention halls, dance halls, cabarets or similar occupancies
BC will investigate with the Fire Company and inform the DC of actions taken 1st by phone then by written report. The DC has the discretion to conduct an investigation if required
When is an INTERIM REPORT sent
Several unsuccessful attempts made within 72 hours of the receipt of the complaint. Indicate all attempts made with date and times
What do you do if you can not gain access for the inspection
Phone FPCU
A-17 is prepared in
Triplicate
Original is forwarded to FPCU within
72 Hours of receipt of complaint
Remaining 2 copies are retained by
The investigating unit
One copy UFS
One copy building record folder
After conducting the investigation of the complaint the officer shall immediately
Call FPCU
During non business hours fax an unendorsed copy of the A-17
