Q

What molecules move freely across a cell memberane?

We probably already took this

Q

What is facilitated diffusion, and what passes through it’s protiens?

A

It’s the movement of molecules from a high to low concentration through transport protiens. Large and small polar molecules move this way. However, charged ions such as Na+ and K+ require channel protiens.

Q

What is active transport?

A

It’s a transport mechanism that moves molecules/and or ions across their concentration gradient by the use of metabollic energy (such as ATP)
