immediately superior to umbilical region; overlies most of the stomach

Immediately inferior to umbilical region; encompasses pelvic area

Iliac regions [right and left]

lateral to the hypogastric region and overlying the superior parts of the hip bone

Between the ribs and the flaring portion of the hip bones; lateral to the umbilical region
