  • Excessive vasoconstriction leading to tissue necrosis and ischemia
  • Excessive doses->Reduce blood flow to vital organs (ex.kidneys) or cause excessive cardiac stimulation and arrhythmia
  • beta-adrenergic agonists can cause hyperglycemia secondary to glycogenolysis
