Children: Pseudotumor cerebri, slipped capital femoral epiphysis, progression of scoliosis, edema, hyperglycemia
Turner syndrome: Otitis media
Adults: Peripheral edema, myalgia, arthralgia and carpal tunnel syndrome
Mecasermin
Hypoglycemia, intracranial hypertension, Adenotonsillar hypertrophy, and asymptomatic liver enzyme elevation
Octreotide
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, flatulence, steatorrhea, gallstones, sinus bradycardia and conduction problems, and vitamin B12 deficiency
Pegvisomant
May elevate liver enzymes
Gonadotropins
Women: Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (Acites, hydrothorax, hypovolemia, shock), multiple pregnancies, headache, depression, edema
Men: Gynecomastia
GnRH agonists
Hot flashes, depression, decreased libido, vaginal dryness, generalized pain, ovarian cysts and osteoporosis (prolonged treatment)
GnRH antagonists
Hypersensitivity and allergic reactions including anaphylaxis
Dopamine agonists
Nausea, headache, dizziness, psychiatric manifestations, erythromelalgia
High doses: Pulmonary infiltrate, and valvular heart disease
Vasopressin related drugs
Dilutional hyponatremia
