635 Loss of Heater O2 (65-EOP-5003) Flashcards
OPER/CCR - 1.1.1 - IF outlet temperature on Reactor Feed heater (635F0001), is not responding to changes in Fuel Gas flow, or Oxygen concentrations is less than 2% O2, as indicated by Outlet Oxygen Analyzer (65AI0001), MONITOR Reactor Feed Heater for the following:
CCR - Very Low Oxygen (<2.0%) or zero, as indicated by Reactor Feed Heater Stack Analyzer (65AI0001)
CCR - Fuel Gas to heater is increasing and the outlet temperature is decreasing (no change in feed to the heater)
OPER - Stack Smoking
OPER - Abnormal Noise or Rumbling
CCR - Heater coil outlet temperatures are fluctuating with no changes to the other process variables
OPER/CCR - 1.1.2 - IF Emergency Alarm Activates or Oxygen concentration is less than 2% O2,
PERFORM the following:
CCR - A - REDUCE Fuel Gas pressure to increase Oxygen concentration greater than 2% O2
CCR - B - TURN OFF Fuel Gas DMC to prevent inappropriate adjustments to Reactor Feed Heater
CCR/OPER - C - COMPARE board and outside indications on Damper position and Main Stack Damper position from ground level
CCR - D - PLACE appropriate Damper in Manual in current position
